Most monofilament is available in diameters starting at 20-25µm with tolerances much tighter than the USP requirement. A variety of radio-opaque versions are available.

Our unique manufacturing process allows us to maximize combinations of desired characteristics, such as strength, stiffness and elasticity.

Your engineering requirements can be developed. Our engineers will explore feasibility and custom design your monofilament, spooling and packaging for your device. Biogeneral can manufacture any required quantity from a hundred feet to a hundred pounds. Call us to discuss your requirements.

Biocompatibility test results, FDA Device Master File, IDE, and PMA regulatory support are available. Customers must determine the suitability and fitness of Biogeneral products for their application.
