Polypropylene
Polypropylene can be made slightly stiffer
than PMMA. Polypropylene has been used for haptic parts
since the beginning of IOL design. Polypropylene’s modulus
requires longer loop formation cycles and careful
processing to ensure post-formation stability.
Lot Certification Sets are provided
to IOL manufacturer's specification. Technical, IDE and PMA
support is available.
Due to differences in IOL design and manufacturing
methods, suitability of our haptic materials must be determined
by IOL manufacturers.
